Doctor Who is an institution. It would be a tragedy if it didn't return to the screens. Doctor Who is a lesson in how to make a successful science fiction T.V. show with a small budget. It competed with shows like Star Trek that had millions to spend. Doctor Who is the most successful T.V. show ever and it has millions of dedicated fans. It will RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (hopefully with Paul McGann)

About 6 years ago, when the Sci-fi channel first came out, you would see commercials being aired asking you to call your local cable company and to tell them to carry the Sci-fi channel. Well, during these commercials they showed five second preveiws of programes that were showing on the Sci-fi channel. One of these five second clips was of Tom Baker playing the doctor and the Dr. Who logo. Well, I have the Sci-fi channel and have never seen any Dr. Who whatsoever on that channel.Why not? The Dr. is one of the greatest sci-fi shows that is out there.

Dr. Who is and was a great show. I saw a pilot for Dr. Who on FOX staring the eighth doctor. What happened? Why didn't they start a new series?
